  • Dialoge On Race Original Series

    Original Series

    The Dialogue Series features two-hour, weekly gatherings that is limited to 15 participants. The sessions are led by trained facilitators. Participants prepare for the discussions by reading short articles before each session. The facilitators set an environment for open, honest conversation around three topic questions.

  • Dialoge On Race Advanced Series

    Advanced Series

    Dialogue on Race Advanced Series enhances participants’ understanding of race. It looks at the concept of race from its construction to its historical setup to the creation of the narrative that has helped entrenched racism as normal.

  • Dialogue On Race Advanced Beyond Series

    Advanced Beyond Series

    The conversation around race often comes down to people talking about their direct personal experiences. This series connects personal experiences with the institutional racism that is affecting attitudes.

  • Presentation and Dialogue

    A one-time presentation on the status and history of racism and its impact on institutions, employees, clients and community. Following the presentation, a dialogue session is held as a way to respond to the information in the presentation. This short dialogue is a great preparation for groups and organizations to experience what the complete Dialogue On Race series will be like.

  • Featured Topic

    The Featured Topic focuses on current race issues. It can be a one-time dialogue or a one-time, multi-week series. DORLA alumni and guests use this space to conduct meaningful conversation about challenging rhetoric and recent racial episodes.

  • Race in Conversation

    This facilitator-led conversation is held in a coffee house or virtually for those who would like to talk about trends around race as well as what is trending in media and social media. Facilitators set a more casual environment for this conversation.

  • Culture Club

    The Culture Club is an opportunity for a facilitated conversation to unpack how culture is impacted by our institutions and how institutions impact our culture. Topics range from book excerpts, articles, poems, essays, podcasts, and visual art.

  • Dialogue Happy Hour

    Dialogue alumni and their guests gather to network and socialize with each other. Happy Hour is a great chance to meet alumni from other series.
