Learn more about how you can help in the fight against racism in your community by becoming a DORLA member. Our members can receive access to our many events, including the Dialogue on Race series, conferences, and featured topic sessions. Get involved today!
If your organization would like to help spread awareness of the effects of racism, consider registering with DORLA. Our Allied members can participate in all DORLA programs, the Dialogue on Race series, and much more. Your company and DORLA can make a change for the better in society.
In order to advance the DORLA mission from dialogue into action, a committee of five DORLA alumni (including one current member of the DORLA board of directors) will evaluate submitted civic projects and choose a maximum of two per year. Approved projects will reflect the DORLA mission and conform to an operational definition of “action.” Together, we can stand up to all forms of racism through our organization and your help.
DORLA does make a difference. Targeting racism in our community and beyond has been our goal since the beginning. Together, we can continue to be successful in our endeavor.

This was a wonderful experience which I felt really brought home the concepts of institutional racism and white privilege. Our group was soon comfortable with each other and able to have an open dialogue on these tough concepts via the guidance of our two wonderful moderators. I strongly recommend this to anyone who wants to understand how racism is having an impact on people of color in the modern world.

The Dialogue on Race series has been one of the most significant learning experiences I've ever had the pleasure to be a part of. I highly recommend it to anyone who's seriously interested in having an open and honest dialogue (not debate) on race and who also wants to play their role in dismantling racism in our community.
