The Green Book Travel Guide and Racism – IN PERSON

This event includes a one-hour presentation by Maxine Crump, President and CEO of Dialogue on Race Louisiana, followed by a one-hour interactive dialogue session.

Participants are asked to view the The Negro Motorist Green Book Exhibit beforehand or view the Online Exhibit, which will be used to start the conversation.

The Negro Motorist Green Book, was developed by the Smithsonian Institution Traveling Exhibition Service (SITES) in collaboration with award-winning author, photographer and cultural documentarian, Candacy Taylor and made possible through the generous support of Exxon Mobil Corporation.
